Bringing home the spirit

With all the fall festivities I undoubtedly had to bring the autumn ambiance to our little love shack. I even found a gorgeous bouquet big enough to make an array of displays throughout our apartment. Here's a quick helpful Tutorial for those of us who have that pretty tall vase which isn't quite suitable to be used for water and flowers.

1) Plain vase with Cinnamon scented branches

2) What's needed

3) In order to not fill the vase with water, not get the
branches wet, but still prolong the flowers' life
span I tied ziploc bags filled with water at the end of each stem.

4) Carefully place the flowers in the vase and Done!

5) Finished Side t.v. stand Display

Another little display from my Pumpkin Patch bouquet of flowers

October Funtivities ;)

Halloween continuously brings the thrill of scary haunted houses, exciting costume ideas, costume parties, and my two favorite activities since I was a little girl Pumpkin Picking and Hayrides. I’ve pretty much out grown the hayrides but still glow like a little girl at the pumpkin patches! Sunday morning my wonderful boyfriend surprised me with a little trip to our local Farmers Market, where I found rows and rows of pumpkins! To say the least we left with a couple yummy goodies and three pumpkins, one for the display and the other two for carving.

PInk

October is breast cancer awareness month which I of course wanted to take part in and what better way than to wear it, this time its not clothes. I'll be promoting breast cancer awareness with my nails this month, or as I call them my mini claws. Everyday I'm asked by someone to look at my nails and I show them with smile in hopes of spreading the awareness and support. Think pink, support, love, and life. (:

Fall Babydoll

Fall in South Florida typically feels like a century before we can delightfully pull forward our autumn clothes. As you can imagine that century can be torturous, especially when all those cute fall looks are displayed everywhere! The booties, leggings, scarfs, and jackets oh I can’t wait until our fall weather arrives!

Today’s outfit is the perfect example of how to blend warm weather with a fall look. Normally I’d pair this dark forest green shirt with a pair of leggings and boots but I’d most likely suffer from heat exhaustion if I tried that look right now. Of course I just really want to wear my new shirt so this is where I move onto Option B (the realistic option). Pair it with my soft cream floral print pleaded A-line skirt, a pair of flats, and done. Fall may not embrace South Florida with the coldness to wear all those fabulous fall looks just yet, but we adjust. Felt like a baby doll in this outfit, created my fall look, and loved it!

DIY Project

It has been a bit since I've posted a DIY project so I thought, what better day than a Sunday for a DIY project. This one is perfect for the girls who have that great little apartment but not all the space in the world. Today's project is quick, simple, and has never looked better. Wether you have a kitchen table you just love but don't have enough chairs for, want something a little more homey, or just want the bench effect.

Here's how to do it, start by hanging an old head board a couple of inches over the bench your placing against the wall. If you don't have an old headboard don't worry they are very easy to make. All you need is a good piece of wood, stuffing, the fabric of your choice, and a really good staple gun. After hanging the headboard add the cushions on the bench for that last touch of comfort and done your kitchen table as a new look for a fraction of the cost!

Dinner date

Recently all I have been hearing about are Peplums. Peplum skirts, dresses, shirts, peplum, peplum and more peplum, but hey I'm loving the peplum! So I went on a little dinner date by the beach and thought how perfect would my peplum shirt look! Bright colored jeans, my flirty peplum shirt, a hot date (the bf), amazing food, and gorgeous night. ;)

Spain

Sixteen months from today, I was a senior in college who decided to make her last year unforgettable. Within a couple of days I decided I wanted to study abroad in Spain, two weeks later I found myself in Madrid. Where I instantly fell in love with        everything! The food, architecture, history, people, culture, and the way Spaniards gleamed with joy every single morning. Everything about Spain won my heart including it's Fashion!

For my first post of CrazyBeautifulBold I posted a picture of my favorite boots from Stradivarius one of my go to stores in Spain. As most girls, I like to reminisce which is then followed by the occasional web-browsing on their newest fashion trends, Stradivarius has never failed to amaze me.

So simple & comfortable, yet stylish and gorgeous.
It's the perfect example of how any outfit can be transformed by simply throwing on a jacket or accessorizing correctly.

Staying Neutral

Went for the browns today! Dull colors don't always have to stay in the back corner of your closet. Playing it up with a couple of accessories always does the trick! A little pop of color, a great pair of shoes, purse and done. Dull got a makeover ;)

Happy Birthday Crazy Beautiful Bold!

We spend our whole lives dreaming about what we want to do or who we want to be when we grow up. When we are young it’s a dream, when we're in high school it becomes a guideline, and when we're in college, we try filtering our ideas for the best fit. Once we graduate college most of us already have it figured out and are ready to get started. Figuring out your life plan has to be one of the hardest obstacles to overcome. Just knowing you’ve finally put all the pieces together is the icing on the cake.

Unlike most……. Well, lets just say I don’t have the icing on my cake just yet. I may not have my life plan ready but I do know what I Love and what’s life without doing something you love?! I was raised in North Jersey by a father who was an architect and a mother who would always surprise me with her creativity. She could draw anything, paint, sew, cook; in my eyes there was nothing she couldn’t do. Growing up in such a household has of course left me with very similar qualities.  I love to cook, paint, sew, create, and refurbish things but my biggest love has turned out to be fashion. Styling is something I’ve always loved doing, picking the pieces to create the perfect outfit is like picking the right paint, paintbrushes, and canvas to create a masterpiece.

I’ve decided to take a step towards what I love and have officially given birth to Crazy Beautiful Bold. Beauty is often stereotyped, in my eyes it can be found anywhere and isn’t defined by just one image or what the tabloids define it as. Welcome to Crazy Beautiful Bold, where the crazy, the beautiful, and the bold all meet. Its where I can share styling tips, outfits, craziness, creativeness, anything fashion, vintage, food, fitness and of course life without the guidelines.
